The 1st Asean Upper Gastrointestinal Surgical Conference and the 4thMalaysian Upper Gastrointestinal Surgical Society Conference invites delegates to share, discuss and deliberate on the issues of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery. The meeting encourages Upper GI Surgeons to share latest developments and practices in the region.

This event brings together upper GI Surgeons from the region and around the world to engage and collaborate with colleagues to share experiences and expertise.

 

President's Address

Dear Colleagues,
Its with great pleasure I invite you to the very first ASEAN Upper GI Surgical meeting from the 11th- 13th September 2015 in Kuala Lumpur. This meeting coincides with the 4th Malaysian Upper GI Surgical meeting and organized by our very own Malaysian Upper GI Surgical Society (MUGIS).

We at MUGIS feel the need for our ASEAN counterparts to promote and disseminate this fairly new field of Upper GI Surgery among our colleagues.
This meeting promises to be exciting and interesting to all budding young surgeons as well as general and Upper GI surgeons with topics ranging from benign to malignant Upper GI diseases.

We have with us world renowned faculty to share with us their experience and updates on these diseases.
Once again, welcome to Kuala Lumpur not only for this excellent experience but also to soak in its sights.
